A rare studio recording of one of my favorite songs, Me and Bobby McGee (originally written by Kris Kristofferson) by Janis Joplin. I like this much better than the released version I have with me.

  1. My favourite version is the one by Gordon Lightfoot. I think I played it for you in my office one day. Will mail it if you want it.

  2. @JAP: I have heard the GL version (could have been at your office) and would appreciate if you send it.
But IMO that version is a bit country-style; personally, I am a bit partial to Joplin’s bluesy style of singing.
