fcb: naughty, naughty……
FCB was off last week – but as is the case of the unfortunate tree falling in the jungle and no one being there to hear, the occassion went (thankfully?) unnoticed. This week, FCB does not have much to offer either, other than what the writer of the blog is currently drinking. Truthfully, the recipe came off the cuff as this blogger was viewing the liquorished remnants of an earlier cocktail party (rather akin a general taking stock of troops after a severe battle?). But later googling revealed the cocktail to be close to this recipe, sans the rum – which was added being inspired by a fellow-blogger and rum lover.
Since we aspire to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere here, the cocktail has been modified and renamed as ‘Popping the Cherry‘ 😉 (makes it sound much more delicious, no ?). so here goes.
Popping the Cherry
- 1 part Light Rum (Havana Club)
- 1 part Dark Rum (Bundaberg)
- 1 part Apple Pucker schnapps
- 1 part Chambord liqueur
- dash of pineapple/orange juice
